Focaccia - Ours is a flat, round, Italian bread with fresh basil; this is the kind of bread to tear apart and eat all by itself. Unbleached White Flour, Hi-Gluten Flour, Water, Olive Oil, Yeast, Sugar, Salt, Fresh Basil, Fresh Garlic or Onions, Coarse Salt and Pepper

French - The classic long bread with crispy crust and soft interior. *White Flour, Unbleached White Flour, Water, Salt, Yeast

Italian - A chewy white bread, try it for garlic bread. Unbleached Flour, Water, Sugar, Yeast, Salt, Malt

Jalapeño Cheese - Spicy and soft, great toasted. Unbleached White Flour, Hi-Gluten Flour, Water, Cheddar Cheese, Coarse Corn Meal (Polenta), Jalapeño Peppers, Salt, Yeast, Sugar, Coarse Pepper

La Veta Sourdough - A naturally leavened round bread. **Starter, *White Flour, *Whole Rye Flour, Water, Salt

Multigrain - A basic grain loaf. *White Flour, *7 Grain Cereal Mix (Corngrits, Millet, Cracked Wheat, Oats, Barley, Soygrits, Wheatbran), *Whole White Wheat Flour, *Whole Rye Flour, *Whole Wheat & Rye Flakes, Water, Salt

Oatmeal Cinnamon Raisin - Great breakfast bread. Try it toasted or as French Toast. Unbleached White Flour, Hi-Gluten Flour, Rolled Oats, Water, Raisins, No Fat Powdered Milk, Brown Sugar, Yeast, Salt, Cinnamon, Sugar

White Sandwich - An old-fashioned white bread to slice for sandwiches or toast. Unbleached White Flour, Buttermilk, Water, Canola Oil, Honey, Yeast, Salt

 

ARTISAN BREADS

Generally these breads are baked directly on the oven bottom, making for a darker, crispier crust. They are also better keepers and have a deeper, more complex crumb flavor. Little or no commercial yeas is used in these breads.

Italian Ring Bread - *White Flour, Water, **Starter (*Bread Flour, Water, Yeast), Potato Puree, Honey, Salt

La Veta Sourdough - A naturally leavened round bread. *White Flour, *Whole Rye Flour, Water, **Starter, Salt

Multigrain - On Thursday, if they are shaped round, they too have a deeper, more complex flavor from longer fermentation. *White Flour, *7 Grain Cereal Mix (Corngrits, Millet, Cracked Wheat, Oats, Barley, Soygrits, Wheatbran), *Whole White Wheat Flour, *Whole Rye Flour, *Whole Wheat & Rye Flakes, Water, Salt

Sourdough Rye - On Tuesdays, if you see these in a round form, they have undergone a longer fermentation and have a deeper, more complex flavor. *White Flour, Rye Berries, *Rye Flour, *Rye Flakes, Gluten Flour, *Rye Starter, Water, Salt, Caraway

100% Whole Grain Bread - *Whole Wheat Flour, Water, **Starter, *Rye Flakes, Seed Mix (Flax, Sesame Seeds, Sunflower Seeds, Oat Flakes), Salt Yeast

All water used at the Ryus Avenue Bakery is filtered and sea salt is used in the bread. All the flour used is unbleache, except for the cake flours.
